Sand filtration is frequently used and very robust method to remove suspended solids from water. The Pressure sand filter consists of a multiple layer of sand with a variety in size and specific gravity. Pressure sand filter can be supplied in different sizes and materials both hands operated or fully automatically. They are designed to remove the suspended particles present in the feed water with minimum pressure drop. The material of construction includes MS, MS with FRP Coating, FRP with face piping and associated valves.
