Clarifier Mechanism
Clarifier Unit consists of the mechanism assembly in base plate with foundation bolts to be fixed on the civil bridge, center shaft supporting the bottom sludge scraper mechanism connected to drive head of 0.75kw rated motor and reduction gear mechanism (shanty motor double reduction; 4900:1) along with central drum arrangement and weir arrangement for uniform overflow.
This includes bottom scraper arm, rubber squeezer, gun metal with cast iron bottom housing, vertical hollow shaft center chute with top C.I bearing housing, shaft coupling or hub for sprocket overload clutch and gear box mounting table, including overload torque limiter.
Primary Purpose
- Removable solids that pass-through headworks and grit
- Lessen organic loading on following biological
- Buffer flow and load stabilization to secondary process/split stream.
